NNPC HHOG JV OML17 HCDT Free Medical Outreach: Second Phase Kicks Off at Igwuruta Primary Health Center

The NNPC/HHOG Joint Venture OML 17 Host Communities Development Trust (HCDT) has officially commenced the second phase of its Free Medical Outreach, bringing hope and relief to residents of our host communities. Today, the program recorded another milestone as surgical procedures were successfully carried out at the Igwuruta Primary Health Center in Rivers State.

General surgeries, including herniorrhaphy and lipoma excisions, were performed by a dedicated team of medical professionals. These interventions not only provide critical health support but also reflect the Trust’s unwavering commitment to improving access to quality healthcare for community members.

The outreach continues tomorrow, with a special focus on eye care services. We urge all patients who have booked for eye surgeries, as well as those experiencing vision challenges, to take advantage of this rare free opportunity. Interested individuals are encouraged to present themselves at the Igwuruta Primary Health Center for medical examination and treatment.

This initiative is part of the Trust’s broader mandate to deliver sustainable healthcare solutions to OML 17 host communities, ensuring that everyone—regardless of financial status—can access vital medical care.

The photos and video clips captured today showcase not just surgeries, but renewed hope, restored health, and the life-changing impact of collective commitment to community well-being.

Together, we are building healthier communities, one life at a time.
